Ecology Consulting (EC) is proud to collaborate with Quadrant Rail Consulting (QRC) to deliver integrated environmental services across NSW and the ACT, particularly in the post-approval space for road and bridge upgrade projects.

Together, we provide a streamlined link between environmental planning and on-ground implementation. While both firms bring distinct capabilities, for recent projects the QRC team has led on environmental planning, statutory approvals and client liaison, while the EC team has brought specialised ecological expertise and responsiveness in the field. The result is practical, coordinated delivery that supports both compliance and environmental outcomes.

By aligning early planning objectives with practical implementation, our partnerships is helping to ensure that ecological commitments made during approvals are meaningfully delivered during construction. Through close collaboration with the construction team, we’ve also been able to retain habitat features on site that were originally flagged for removal, demonstrating how strong communication and adaptive management can lead to better outcomes on the ground.

Our joint work includes:

· pre-clearing ecological due diligence and on-site tree retention planning

· clearing supervision and habitat feature salvage, under active construction conditions.

· ensuring compliance with mitigation measures while protecting biodiversity values

· ongoing advice and collaboration to support compliance, minimise risk, and maintain momentum on fast-moving projects
